Three Acts of Goodness (TAG)
From 2013 until 2017, CHC had been an active volunteer of the Fo Guang Shan (FGS) Mabuhay Temple. Projects included visiting Taiwan to develop a preschool program in the Philippines (which did not happen due to unforeseen changes), facilitating workshops and co-organizing events. The majority of the time was dedicated to the Three Acts of Goodness (TAG) program of Fo Guang Shan in the Philippines.
The team of volunteers were very active with multiple projects within TAG.
One was a partnership with the Department of Education to support teachers through small grants, experiencing the Art of Chan, and facilitating the Three Acts of Goodness workshops (modules were collaboratively developed by the volunteers).
Volunteers were also tapped to provide support and expertise to Guang Ming College – the tertiary education arm of FGS dedicated to Buddhist Studies and Performing Arts.
