Pedagogy Response Team Philippines Training of Trainers
The Pedagogical/Pedagogy Response Team (PRT) in the Philippines, using Emergency Pedagogy, an emergency crisis intervention methodology based on the principles of Waldorf education introduced by the Freunde Waldorf group (or Friends of Waldorf).
PRT is an adhoc group made up of Waldorf practitioners, Art Therapists, Theatre artists, as well as Early Childhood, PWD and humanitarian workers who came together, inspired by the work of Freunde Waldorf and in response to the need for a more holistic and healing approach to education in emergencies.
The Philippine Misereor Partnership Inc. (PMPI) organized a Training of Trainers on February 13-14, 2014 and invited PRT to facilitate different workshops on Emergency Pedagogy (Art Therapy, Theater/Community Games, Kindergarten as Safe Space) to representatives from cultural/humanitarian organizations.
