Krizel is passionate about developmental work particularly in the field of humanistic education and visual arts – that  at 17 years old, she co-founded a non-government organization that advocates for access to visual arts (painting) in the different communities in the Philippines and did several arts exhibits to raise  funding to social issues such as hunger and education. She currently maintains a day job in the non-profit sector that resonates with her advocacies. Krizel recently found a new passion for facilitating workshops that promotes well-being that centers around the teachings of Humanistic Buddhism. In her spare time, she likes volunteering to various causes such as education, inter-religious dialogues and peace-building.

Meeting through volunteer work at the Fo Guang Shan Mabuhay Temple, Krizel currently collaborates with Frances Garganera and Nex Agustin to create the CHC Sacred Space podcast starting October 2020. She is also part of the Emergent Theatre community along with Frances.
